
M. Alice LeGrow is a freelance graphic novelist and the creator of Bizenghast,
an
eight-volume graphic novel series published by Tokyopop, Inc. Bizenghast
has been translated into over a dozen languages for fans all over the
globe. The series has spawned a full novelization, iTunes companion
soundtrack, puzzles, activity books, a tabletop role-playing game and
line of Target clothing merchandise, as well as various apps games and
an animated webisode series. The series' storyline is currently being

M. Alice has been featured in Teen People's "What's Hot"
list, The Gothic and Lolita Bible (US), Newtype Magazine
and in various other publications, including the HarperCollins book Manga-ka
America:
Manga By America's Hottest Artists. She has also appeared
on NPR's "All Things Considered" with host
Jacki Lyden and is a regular guest at various anime and comic
conventions. She has a BFA in Sequential Art from Savannah College of
Art and Design.
In addition to comics, M. Alice also works as a character princess for
an entertainment company, through which she volunteers as a charity
entertainer for such organizations as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. She specializes in character work, costuming, propmaking and puppeteering.
