Hey all!
Well, the official Bizenghast Adventure game is nearing completion and set to go on sale around march of this year, woo! The game engine was designed by Clint Krause,

BIZENGHAST TABLETOP ACTION.
Also, I'll be at SakuraCon next month in Seattle, March 28th-30. On the 26th and 27th, I'll be speaking at the local Kings County Library as well. I hope to see you there!

What up, everyone! The host of our forum site went down so I've started up a 2.0 version of the Bizenghast forum on a new site! I'm sorry I couldn't save everyone's
previous ranks from the other forum, but I spose a new version is better than no version, right?
Just a reminder, I'll be at New York Anime Fest THIS month, December 7-9th, at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC. For more info, visit their site! LINK

Hey all! Long time no see!
I got something cool for y'all...a new Bizenghast forum! YEAH! I'm stoked about it. You'll see the button for it to the left.
Registration is fast and free, and you can do all kinds of stuff once there...talk to the characters of Bizenghast, chat with other fans, hang out with other
aspiring artists and more! Edaniel's advice column, iDaniel, will also be moving to this site, which will make it a lot easier for him to answer letters faster.
You can also earn ranks by the number of posts you make, which will allow you to visit more places in the Bizenghast forum!
I hope you'll all join! See ya!

Hey everyone! It's almost Christmas, yaaaay! My cats Ming and Severus have been knocking all the ornaments off my tree and running around with the present bows in their mouths...it's their first
Christmas. My friends G-chan and Dorian came over the night I got the tree and we made some of our own ornaments out of construction paper and markers, then ran them through my laminating
machine...they look really cute!

Hey y'all! Just a quick update on a couple things today:
1. I don't know when the third volume of Bizenghast will come out. Not anytime soon, seeing as I'm still drawing it as we speak (no really, it's sitting right here next to me in page-sketch form!). I would say that if you want to know the status of volume 3,
log on to www.tokyopop.com and check out the Bizenghast section. It'll tell you exactly when it's supposed to be out in stores!
2. You CAN get the Bizenghast stickerbook NOW on Amazon.com, wheee! Stickerbook MADNESS!
3. Edaniel has updated his column, but he has very few letters to answer because HostOnce, the service that hosts this site, recently changed its email service over and much of mine and Edaniel's mail was lost. So if you sent a question for me or Edaniel BEFORE TWO WEEKS AGO that hasn't been answered here, please resend it!
I'm currently busy on book 3 and on making models of different Bizenghast sets for reference. I'll post a gallery of them here when they're completed. :)

All peoples are commanded to read my friend Evande's amazing Bizenghast fanfiction, entitled "Edaniel's Busy Day." You can find the link to said fanfiction
immediately after the period that ends this sentence. THE LINK
Evadne, my personal best friend of some 14-odd years, wrote this fanfiction under strict orders to adhere to a format of my choosing, which is to say a very stupid and pointless one.

Whew! After a colossal effort, I'm now established in my new house! My own fancy townhouse just for me! But of course it's just around the corner from my
friends so I won't be lonely. I'm so happy to be here, but the heat wave is really dampening my enthusiasm.
This update is a long time in coming, but check out my awesome friend Lolichan's Dinah costume!
Lolichan worked SO hard on this outfit, and I have to give extra kudos to the "poncho thing from hell," since she made all those little black lines by hand. She
also had to design most of the bodice herself since the poncho covers it up most of the time, and I think it looks very much like how I pictured it myself. Crazy!
You can visit her website at Lolichan.net to read more about the work that went into this costume, as well as check out her other awesome
cosplay outfits!
Speaking of which, I know that a few other people have cosplayed Bizenghast, and I'm working on a gallery for BZG cosplayers right now, to go on this site. If
you've done a Bizenghast costume (or plan to do one soon!) please email me at QueenAlice@Bizenghast.com with photos and anything else you'd like to add. I hope
to make a showcase of cosplayers and do some interviews as well. Thanks very much!

Wow, what a long time since I've been able to update! I've had login problems with this site for quite a while. But now I can update about some important news, as well
as a new column of iDaniel!
Well, book two of Bizenghast has been out for two weeks and it's already in the Top 50 graphic novels sold in the US...thanks
so much, you guys! I'm currently hard at work on book 3, which I hope to make a thousand percent better than the previous
books!
The weekend after next, from June 7th to 9th, I'll be a guest at Connecticon, at the Hartford Convention Center in Hartford,
Connecticut! Not only will I be hosting some fun panels and possibly participating in the human cosplay chess, but I'll
also have a booth with lots of crazy Bizenghast stuff for sale...postcards, signed books, keychains, dolls and other nutty
stuff!
Feb.2.06
Hey everyone! It's been a LONG while since I updated. I've been working super hard on book two of Bizenghast. For those
who asked, the release date for volume two is the second week of JUNE, 2006. It's a few months away, but it'll be
worth it! Lots of sassback from Edaniel and a new character! Previews from the book will be up soon.
New iDaniel column up today...Edaniel, like me, is very lazy in answering his mail. But hopefully he'll do a
better job of it in the future.
I'm so sad today...my hamster Sherlock Holmes died yesterday. He was a very old hamster, but it still made me cry. He was a good hamster.
Sherlock was given
a burial in the backyard in a small wooden casket, along with his favorite possessions.
This month I'll be at Katsucon in Virginia...I hope I see you all there!

Some fun updates for y'all. A lot of people have asked when volume two of Bizenghast is coming out. The street date is tentatively set for
the first week of March 2006. I fixed the DeviantArt link to the right so you can check out some previews from the next volume. :) I've
also added more art to the gallery section.
I've also added a chat room to this site! Every Wednesday at 8 pm eastern (6 pm pacific) is the weekly scheduled chat when I'll be on, along with the
occasional guest speaker or super snake. :) Of course, you're welcome to use the room for your own chats throughout the week as well!
New page previews from volume two of Bizenghast will be posted in the Series section soon, along with some early character sketches from before
Bizenghast was created! See ya!

Tokyopop has issued a retraction regarding the comments printed in the back of Bizenghast, volume one. You can check it out HERE.
Aug.03.05
Just a small but badly-needed clarification for those of you who have read Takuhai (July issue) or purchased volume one of Bizenghast early.
That comment in the back of the book about my not wanting people to cosplay BZG characters unless they do them right? Yeah,
I NEVER SAID THAT. I had no idea that statement was even IN the book or in Takuhai until both publications were given to me at ComiCon
a few weeks ago. That piece was written by a former editor of Tokyopop who, in all honesty, was trying to put a "hip and sassy" spin on
my book and failed utterly. It was included without my knowledge or consent.
I was livid when I found out about this and am requesting that Tokyopop issue a statement on their site regarding
this outrageous comment, as it is totally not in keeping with my opinions. I love all cosplayers, being one myself, and I don't discriminate against anyone based on talent, skill level, dedication or any other reason.
I'm thrilled that anyone would cosplay my characters at all and I am extremely angry about this situation. Please check back later to see
how this develops. Hopefully Tokyopop will issue some sort of formal retraction.
Jul.1.05
Newtype USA kindly made me their July Cosplayer of the Month! Click on the image below to read the full article.
Just a reminder: In two weeks I'll be at San Diego ComiCon, so drop by and say hello!
